Students with a Testimony started three years ago with the realization that every student has a testimony. The vision of SWAT is to confront every believer with the fact that they might be the only Bible that their classmates will every read, especially since going to church is not on everyone’s priority list.

The vision of SWAT is to confront every believer with the fact that they might be the only Bible that their classmates will every read, especially since going to church is not on everyone’s priority list.

Unfortunately, some testimonies are bogus. So it’s also our desire to spiritually awaken all high schoolers, so they may be a light in the darkness of this world.

The way we accomplish this is to have a strong biblical foundation, which is the core of our Bible study. This–the very Word of God–is what changes the human heart.

Once the heart is changed, the human spirit is pliable and the Holy Spirit of God is willing to use that person. Now the Lord can ROCK in a student’s life! Because God has a plan for every person’s life, any time a student goes on fire for the Lord, their peers will stand around and watch ‘um burn with power, purpose and passion. So, whether you’re “Betty Born Beautiful” or Poindexter’s side-kick, the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth, looking for those whose heart is completely His.

So let me ask you, are you a Student with a Testimony? If you are, is your testimony one that shines like a cosmic flurry of flashing spiritual power, or has that baby been tossed and burned in a consuming fire of bugoscitity?
